I would love to see how bloggers’ numbers rose within the last week or two with all the displaced JournalSpace peepsies making their home (whether permanent or temporary) here.
There’s a lot of talk around the net bashing JS and it’s people and of course those of us who didn’t back up. I don’t know that we deserved to lose all our stuff b/c we didn’t back up as some have said but it certainly seems like a lot of us didn’t learn our lesson from the prior crash. Myself included. I think I’m more agitated that my layouts weren’t backed up (my fault). I had pro access and used the RSS feed and had my blog linked to another so luckily mine is “saved” unless that one goes belly up too. I really should back that up. *shakes head*
There have been moments where I think “wow. 5 years online and what do I have to show for it….” but hey, no use in crying over spilled milk now is there?! I don’t know…. my journal wasn’t very deep or thought provoking - it was just my daily life which means MTV won’t be knocking on my door begging to do a reality series about me. I’m to normal, to boring, to sane.
Isn’t there a saying “one thing we learn from history is that we don’t learn from history”
