moving around

I’m not complaining but I miss the favorites vs friends. Maybe I just have a problem with using the word friend on here. Some of you are my friends but some others I don’t know who you are. I don’t know. It’s just a word I guess - but to me friend means more than acquaintance or more than just a blog I want to be let known that they’ve updated. bleh! it’s just a word. I’m not complaining, just throwing out thoughts.

Last night I made popcorn. Oil-popped. With lots of butter. And salt.

I ate 7 cups. Once you pass the 2 cup mark, why even keep track of how many cups you’re eating? :)

Still can’t drink the eight 8 oz of water. I have to pee just thinking about drinking my weight in water like Bobby says he does. *crazy man* - hey isn’t that what fijufic means? I think he said it means crazy something or other, if not it should.

I have turbo tonight. whopieee.

turbo challenge and a thought

I think I may post in blogger and here til I decide which one I like *better*. Still navigating around both.

So in our turbo kick/jam classes they’re challenging us. We’re all a bunch of fat slobs - well some of us are, there are quite a few fit and trim chickas - I am not one of them.

So we have to write out 3 goals and each week they’ll give us another challenge. This week’s challenge is fairly simple (or is it?) drink eight 8 oz glasses of water a day.

Do you know how hard this is? *retorical question* I dislike water unless I’m working out (which happens twice a week) it’s just bland. I’m not really a soda pop drinker either, I like coffee and tea. Heidy actually suggested replacing our morning coffee with water *gasp* I’m kidding, I mean she really did say that but I’m getting a headache just thinking about the headache I’d have without my morning joe so I compromised with myself and bought “half-caf”. baby steps.

I’ll *try to* replace my afternoon iced teas with water though. Baby steps.

Each class we attend allows us to put our name in a box, each challenge we attempt gets another name, bring a friend - another name. At the end they’ll draw a name and you win something *don’t know what yet*

I’m excited if only for the accountability of it all. I really would like to be down to my goal weight by the end of May.
